Robooter Echoes the Mission of the CRPD Conference: Championing Accessibility, Innovation, and Human Dignity

2025-05-20

As the 18th Session of the Conference of States Parties (COSP18) to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) convenes in New York, global leaders and changemakers are gathering to advance accessibility, inclusion, and rehabilitation for people with disabilities. Robooter, a pioneering developer of intelligent mobility solutions, stands in firm support of the conference’s mission and values — reaffirming that even if we are not present at the table, we are fully part of the global conversation.

Robooter aligns deeply with the principles laid out in Article 9 of the CRPD, which calls for the removal of barriers and the creation of environments that empower all people with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in society.

“Mobility is more than a function — it’s a fundamental right,” said a spokesperson from Robooter. “As innovators in assistive technology, we believe accessibility must be integrated from the start, not retrofitted later.”

Robooter’s Commitment in Action

Through its innovative line of electric wheelchairs and mobility aids, Robooter is helping to turn the CRPD’s principles into reality by focusing on:

Smart, inclusive mobility solutions that combine cutting-edge technology with real-world usability

Human-centered design that prioritizes user experience, comfort, and independence

Tech-enabled rehabilitation support, helping individuals regain movement and confidence

A long-term vision of freedom and dignity for all individuals with limited mobility

With global distribution partners and customers across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, Robooter continues to expand access to advanced mobility tools that enhance quality of life.

As the international community pushes forward the accessibility agenda at COSP18, Robooter echoes the call: let’s build a world where inclusive design is the norm — not the exception.
